If your sister knit a whole sweater in November, would you?

medium_nanoswemo.jpgI guess the answer is "yes." Reading Erin's post about NaKniSweMo got me all inspired and stuff.

But what should I knit? Well, I purchased Jess a couple of months ago. And after seeing the brown sheep's version today, I decided that this would be a perfect November sweater. This pattern is like a Doris Day movie--full of personality, yet classic. I can't wait to go to my LYS this weekend and find some yarn.

The only thing is I am not sure that Jess has 50,000 stitches in it to knit (the ultimate goal of NaKniSweMo)...and I don't want to spend the brain power to figure it out. C'mon guys, math is hard. So I am just going on blind faith, and knitting it. I mean, isn't that what Doris Day would do?

Happy Halloween!

I present to you the Pumpknit...

This is my contribution to the Halloween arts. Plus, it won me a prize at work...don't you just love holidays?

Now I have to go pass out obscene amounts of candy to children thanks to Erin. More knit blogging soon, I promise...

In the hood.

Yeah, I said it...I made that really obviously bad pun. So, what of it?

This past week I have been slowly working on Central Park Hoodie, and this is what I got so far...

That my friends, is both fronts, the back and, especially, the hood. So it is coming along, no?

When I finished the second front, I just couldn't wait. I immediately seamed the shoulders by doing the three-needle bind-off. And once you seam some shoulders, a hood is not that far behind. But give me strength, I still have some sleeves to do. Onward!
