Clap your hands...Clapotis is done!

I thought this day would never come. The long-awaited Clapotis is finally here. It started last July and slowly, slowly, slowly I got it done. I love the result, but I definitely had a hard time getting there. Not because of the level of difficulty, but because of monotony. I would just get so bored. Is that so wrong?

Yay for having the clap, and not needing a shot in the arse! Hahahhahahahah, couldn't resist that one. Your clap looks awesome, and I agree it's one of those knits, that you're glad it's finished, and glad you have one to join the masses.

Standing up and clapping for you! Great job. This is one of those that I want to knit but haven't found the right yarn yet. Did you like the yarn you chose? It looks beautiful!

Clap your hands, say YEAH! I can totally relate to that whole "bored with stockinette" feeling. I've been working on the same baby blanket for two years (only seven rows left!). I haven't made a Clap-o yet, but someday...

It's only when you start wearing it, and enjoying compliments that you realize how wonderful a Clapotis is. And it makes the effort all worthwhile. Yours is lovely--great colors.

the clap is one of those projects that you just have to knit at least once, but it is also one of those projects that i just *know that i would struggle to get through! ;0)
i love yours though. especially the yarn colour, very nice.

Congratulations! It is beautiful. I know what you mean by taking forever to get it done. I had the same problem. And just to prove I'm insane, there's another one on the needles. It's been in time out for maybe 4 months now. Maybe I'll pick it up again.
