knitting lemonade

This year, my sisters (that includes girl who knits) and I are spending Christmas with our parents. And since our parents happen to live in Hong Kong...well you can do the math. So tomorrow, I' m heading out to the far east and I couldn't be more excited. I'm not sure how much blogging I'll be able to do there, but I promise pics when I get back.

And while we're there, I think we just might pop over to Thailand for 5 days. (I shall ride an elepant, I shall!!)

PS - My mom has already scouted the Hong Kong LYSs. Funny thing...she doesn't knit. She just has our backs like that. In fact, she's already planning our photo shoot at the yarn stores for "you know, your blogs". She knows us so well, no?

Last Tuesday my friends Lorelai and Sookie participated in their town knit-a-thon in order to save the Old Muddy River Bridge. All of Stars Hollow was alive with the sound of yarn swifts spinning and knitting needles clacking. The event was filled with sights that just pulled on the ole heart yarns...
