Sweet Georgia!
Okay, I got me some new sock yarn...Don't you judge me! I mean how could I resist these pretties? Especially when they are dyed by the awe-inspiring sweet georgia.
Meet River...
She just might become the increasingly popular Pomatomus from knitty.
And don't forget Willow...
I think that she will emerge as Anna's fabbity fab Elfine's socks.

I found it on one of the most darling blogs: good to be a girl. Thanks Amy! Once I saw the Grey's Anatomy where Meredith replaced men with knitting, well, let's just say it hit a little close to home. And yes, I was knitting at the time...

Oh heavens girl! I swear you are going to have to make ME some socks soon. I do love the colors though. GORGEOUS DAHLING, SIMPLY GORGEOUS.

I found your blog via Ashley - and I love the projects you're making! I'm super-impressed with the Rosie the Riveter sweater - very cool. And your Green Gable is looking lovely, small neckline notwithstanding (I'm knitting that one too). And finally, I'm very jealous that you managed to score some Sweet Georgia "River" sock yarn - I've been coveting that colorway for ages but her stock always seems to be sold out when I visit. Looking forward to seeing your River-colored Pomatomi...
